Maid=Single, or unmarried Matron= Married In the event that you have both a matron and a maid of honor, the maid takes higher (control?) in traditional weddings. The list goes kinda like this: Bride Maid of Honor Matron of Honor Bridesmaids Flowergirls And so on... Matron= Married
In the event that you have both a matron and a maid of honor, the maid takes higher (control?) in traditional weddings.
